Khor Virap monastery complex is one of three holy places in Armenia and one of the the closest area to the Mount Ararat. Noravank a 13th century monastic complex, is unique in its structure, the main church of the complex, St. Astvatsatsin is two floor building. To get on the second floor of the church you should use the front facing stairs. An amazing view opens from the monastery complex to the canyon.
