Khor Virap, Garni Geghard

Armenia is a country of centuries-old sights with amazing beauty that today have become the most interesting tourist destinations in Armenia. Excursion during which you will visit such sights that every year attract more and more people all over the world with their beauty and history. You will start your tour with the visit of Garni temple and we will find out together in what century it was built and why the Armenian kings liked this place. Then, you will also visit the Geghard monastery, where you will find out why this monastery complex is named so. Following the path, you will visit the Khor Virap monastery, which is located above the underground prison, where St. Gregory the Illuminator was imprisoned for about 14 years before curing King Trdat III of a disease. Thus, the king and the entire nation adopted Christianity and Armenia become the first country to adopt Christianity as a state religion.
