Armenia is a historical country that has its own unique culture and is immensely rich in beautiful sights, centuries-old churches and monasteries, Armenia is an open-air museum. In the frame of the following excursion, you will visit the ancient monasteries of Armenia – Saghmosavank and Hovhannavank, which have magical power to make a miracle, and these both monasteries are located in the very heart of the breathtaking natural beauty. Continuing your one-day tour you will visit St. Gevorg church, which is located on the southern edge of the Mughni village. During the Middle Ages, the church was a place of pilgrimage, as the relics of St. Gevorg were here, and according to legend, they have miraculous healing powers. At the end of the excursion, you will see a monument to the Armenian alphabet, which was built in 2005 for the 1600th anniversary of the creation of the Armenian alphabet. The monument includes decorations from 39 letters of the Armenian alphabet and monuments of great Armenians.
