Gegarkunik is the most visited region in Armenia. The greatest advantage of the region is that here is located one of the pearls of the country – Lake Sevan. Especially in summer, every tourist who visits Yerevan, at least one day rests in Sevan. Besides Lake Sevan, there are other sightseeings in the region such as the volcanic cones in Geghama and Vardenis and Ajdahak and Armaghan volcanoes, hiding beautiful lakes in their craters.
